Prepare to experience Rangilo Raat, where we turn Loyola’s very own Gentile Arena into the embodiment of the Navratri and the Goddesses prayed to each day of the 9 days and specifically, we are focusing on day 7 and day 9 and portraying Goddess Kalratri, Goddess\’s most powerful manifestations, and her name means \”the one who is dark as night\”, and Goddess Siddhidatri, Goddess who fulfills the divine aspirations and is the giver of perfection.
Garbas are held in Hinduism during Navratri, a nine-night festival dedicated to worshiping the different forms of the Hindu Goddess Durga. During Garba, people all around the world rejoice in traditional dance and music for spiritual advancement.
We will kick off the night on Saturday, October 14th from 6pm to 10pm at LUC’s Gentile Arena located at our Lake Shore Campus (6525 N Sheridan Rd). This is an OPEN EVENT, so spread the word and bring your friends and family to join the celebrations! Admission is FREE for Loyola students (must have student ID) and pricing for non LUC individuals will start at $10.
