World Bindi Day

Namaste!

As World Bindi Day is coming up soon, October 15, 2023, we would love to include your participation in celebrating the day!

Here are some things you can do:

1. Post an infographic, video, testimonial, or reel talking about the meaning, significance of the bindi. Feel free to share personal stories, address any anti-hindu sentiment you’ve faced for wearing a bindi/tilak, or talk about how a bindi helps you feel empowered.
2. Encourage your followers to participate by posting a photo/video of themselves rocking a bindi, tikka, tilak, chandan, sticker, sindoor or bhasm.

Feel free to get creative with how you choose to participate. Please remember to tag @hindustudentscouncil and include the following hashtags in the caption: #worldbindiday, #missionbindi, #bindipride, and #beautifulbindi.
