Enlivening Hindu Heritage is a new Hindu Heritage Month conference series that will take place on several Sundays in October.
Traditional Hindu institutions recognize that their sustenance is predicated on the increased involvement of diaspora-raised Hindus in their institutions and the community moving forward. Simultaneously, diaspora-raised Hindus would like to see these institutions better reflect their perspectives and their vision for the Hindu community. This conference seeks to bridge this gap. This year’s conference will center the voices of diaspora-raised Hindus and the ways in which they enliven Hindu heritage in their personal and professional lives. We believe that this will create new pathways for ongoing stewardship of Hindu heritage for generations to come.
Session 2 talks about the role and contribution of diaspora-raised Hindus in the area of social service
